Hello~ Reason for Absence~ Beautiful Card from Dena

Hello, I haven't been blogging or doing any cards for the last 2- 3 weeks. My dear Father-in-Law passed away on June 28th and then we went out of town for a get away over July4th for a few days. I started back to work this past Tuesday. I have received some beautiful images from DoodlePalace. They're so cute. My heart has just not been into creating anything. I think about my father-in-law all the time. He was a cracker-jack, and always had a smile and loved to entertain. I have to pass his house every day, and think of all the funnies and good times we had together. He loved to make coffee for me, and others. I would always go down to his house and knew instantly the coffee pot and food would be served. So keep me in your prayers, and thoughts.

I received one of the most beautiful cards today from Dena, a member of the DoodlePalace Design Team. When I opened this card, I almost cried. It came at the right time and it's one of the most beautiful cards I have seen. I love Angels. Dena, you don't know how much I love this card. It has touched my heart so much! So THANK YOU it means so much to me!!

Thank you DoodlePalace and the members for letting me be absence for a while and get back into the groove. I'm hoping to create something tomorrow and get back to blogging.

Goodnight Moon Image~DoodlePalace~Handmade Card

Hi Everyone, It's been a while really since I have posted anything on my blog. I had lost my Mojo to create anything for my blog. I have been dealing with my Mother who was diagnosed with early Alzheimers Disease. She was in the hospital 1 1/2 weeks ago for this. Then my Father-In-Law as been and out of the hospital twice within the last 1-2 weeks. I'm so thankful for my family and love them dearly. My Mom just gets confused and sometimes has memory loss. I'm so very thankful for her, and my father-in-law. My sister and I are taking one day at a time.

So I created this card using the digital stamp/image from DoodlePalace. This image is called "Goodnight Moon". It brought a smile to my face after I completed this card on Saturday. This image is perfect for all of those little ones we love. I used copic markers on the image and also glazed the stars, hat and cloud. Then used pop-ups to put the image on. You can go here and purchase this image from DoodlePalace to create something for that little one.

New Release Tuesday~Cats Love~DoodlePalace~Handmade Card

Greatest Doggone Dad~Hound Dog~New Release Digital Stamp/Image~DoodlePalace~~

Just look at this little guy," The Greatest Doggone Dad~ Hound~" from DoodlePalace that's going to be released. He's one of the cutest dog images. I just love him. Look at those puppy eyes.
